Happenings in 2008

Here are some recent pictures of what we've been up to lately. Joshua continues to grow fast! Since Christmas, he's started sleeping through the night, laughing, being ticklish, standing up with us supporting him, reaching for toys (still trying to master his hand coordination though), and using the Exersaucer. I'm sure he's got a few more new "tricks", but those are the main ones I can think of.

Joshua's cousins (Emily, Russell, and Jessica) came to visit us last week. They all had fun playing together.

Emily is such a "little mama"

Just a cute one...

We've been using the Baby Bjorn at the grocery store these days. I think it's happier for both of us, although it is difficult to get the groceries out of the bottom of the cart without dumping Joshua in!

One of the best ways to get a laugh out of Josh is to give him an airplane ride on your shins. He especially likes big bounces - I think he may be a thrill seeker like his daddy (and mommy too)!

This is during an airplane ride - not sure if the look is fear or amazement!

what our little guy looks like these days - almost four months old

He has discovered his tongue! It's hilarious. Both Gigi (Daniel's mom) and Great Grandma Nettleton can touch their noses with their tongues (as can mom and dad), so he's got it in his genes!

Christmas 2007

Here's a few pictures from the holidays...we've fallen behind in blogging...I guess life has gotten a little crazier the last few weeks (months?) as Joshua spends less time napping and more time playing! We had a great time spending Christmas with Daniel's family in Tallahassee and Orlando and New Years with my family in Minnesota.

Fun with Daddy - in the background is the stocking we gave Joshua for Christmas

Santa left us a precious little elf in a giant stocking this year!
