Tallahassee Christmas

We usually celebrate Christmas in early December with Daniel's immediate family.  It's getting to be quite a crowd as the family grows...and it's just getting started!  (We think they'll eventually need to build a bunk house in the backyard for all the grandkids to sleep in.  How fun would that be!)

We had a great time being with everyone.  The kids love visiting Papa and Gigi and seeing all their aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Despite A LOT of people, the chaos was kept to a minimum!

 

Josh graduated to the Kids Table!  (Not sure Emily is thrilled about it!)

Brielle is REALLY into hats.  It all began with this Santa hat that she really enjoyed wearing during the gift opening.  It's funny, she'll wear a hat, but not a barrette.

 She loves Papa and Gigi and also seems especially fond of Uncle David.

All the girl cousins got matching outfits - pretty in pink!

Josh and Jessie are just 10 months apart and best buds.

Playing Catchup - Thanksgiving

Daniel had to work this Thanksgiving...first time in three years in the ER though, so not too bad.  Our friends, Jeff and Erin, kindly invited me and the kids over to share a meal with them.  And boy did they ever put on a spread...despite only three adults and three kids, we had all the fixings for the usual feast! Delicious!
