Florida's Newest Residents - Papa and Tata

Last fall my parents bought a condo just down the road from us so they would have a place to come stay for longer visits and as a kind of retirement get-away. I'm sure they imagined sitting on the porch leisurely drinking coffee, reading, crafting, long walks on the beach, and nice dinners out...but so far in their two extended visits this winter, it's been busy, busy, busy - lots of babysitting of grandkids (yay for date nights), birthday parties to plan and celebrate (dad's and Brielle's), outfitting the condo with furniture, nursing us back to health, building a deck, etc. The time they're here flies by and we are really enjoying having longer visits with them. Yay for retirement! The kids LOVE having them around of course. Every day they're here, Josh wakes up asking, "Where's Tata? Where's Papa?" and wants them to "Come Joshy's house now please."

Below are pictures from their most recent visit...God's timing was perfect as all four of us were sick when they first arrived and it was great to have extra hands and extra rest.  After a few days we were feeling better and ready for some fun.  The weather was gorgeous, so we spent lots of time on the deck, went to the beach a few times, and took a trip to the zoo.

(Mom, sorry about the lack of pictures of you from this visit...I guess you're used to it though, that's kind of how it is being mom...and grandma too, apparently.)
